A STORY WHICH BEGAN IN CUPRAMONTANA MANY YEARS AGO

A FAMILY HISTORY

The Sparapani winery was founded in 1985. Right from the start the family chose to aim for quality, through careful selection and a constant updating of the techniques used both in the field and in the winery.

The founder, Settimio Sparapani, relies on old family traditions and secrets handed down from generation to generation; the business thrives on the family’s work ethic and sets as its primary objective, quality without compromise. The 18 hectares of the estate, all planted with Verdicchio, do the rest.

THE SPARAPANI FAMILY

THE HISTORY OF A LAND

The Sparapani winery is located in in the heart of the Marche region, exactly in Cupramontana, the Verdicchio wine-growing capital. It stands close to the ancient hermitage of the “White Friars”, a Camaldoli monastic complex which has welcomed and protected the “White Friars” prayers and work for centuries and which has kept its magic of time and traditions intact.

The local farmers have inherited their love of vine cultivation from that area, where peace and silence reign supreme. This is the magical place which has inspired the Sparapani family to achieve great wines, the result of work and passion.
